Nuts
- Nut butters are best avoided or eaten in moderation, as your health
permits.
- Nuts should be lightly roasted with a pinch of sea salt, as your
health permits.
NOTE: Chestnuts (which are not fatty) may be used fresh or dried once
or twice a week with rice, or with certain beans, as well as cooked
by themselves, or to make desserts. Chestnuts provide a very satisfying
sweet taste. |
